New College Institute is teaming up with Memorial Hospital of Martinsville & Henry County to shed some light on Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), which is a type of depression experienced during the winter months. While experts don't know the exact cause of this disorder, it is believed to be caused by a lack of sunlight, which can affect circadian rhythms and serotonin levels.
Come out to hear from Dr. Reddy, a local expert in SAD, for insights and methods to fight back against the "winter blues."
Free to attend, please RSVP.
