Coordinator of Advanced Manufacturing

The Coordinator of Advanced Manufacturing is a full time, restricted position that is responsible for the management and coordination of all activities to operate and promote NCI’s Center of Advanced Manufacturing. This position will oversee the continued development and delivery of academic and credential training programs and will work closely with regional industry partners. The position will manage the Center, maintain equipment, provide instruction, and work collaboratively with internal and external partners.

Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate must demonstrate expertise in: manufacturing processes and equipment; maintain an in-depth understanding of automation software and programming with preference given to leadership, facilitation, collaboration and strong teamwork. Candidate must demonstrate strong managerial and team leadership skills related to manufacturing operations with an emphasis to provide and oversee the facilitation of effective instruction to all participants. Associates degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering/Engineering Technology or related field from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent years of experience. Occasional evening and weekend hours required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred experience in controls, CAD/CAM, factory automation, and/or systems integration, and hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical/electronic, PLC equipment in a manufacturing setting. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
