Video & Photo Production Intern
New College Institute is seeking a Video & Photo Production Intern. This is a non-benefited, restricted, temporary hourly wage position expected to end August 31, 2019. This position will work closely with the Assistant Director of Academics and Communication. This is a great opportunity for a college student interested in film production. The internship will allow the opportunity to get to know many businesses in our area and learn best practices for sharing videos through multiple social media platforms. As well as having the chance to enhance skills in a variety of disciplines to develop a portfolio which demonstrates progressive visual storytelling through the use of video, photography and multimedia presentations. This intern will work closely with their team & contribute towards the creative process, assist with video development and editing, and interview and record video of NCI students and alumni working at multiple exciting locations in a variety of fields.
The ideal candidate must be highly self-motivated and possess strong organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of comfort while communicating with diverse groups, leadership skills, maturity and professionalism, production skills, experience with DSLR cameras for video production and stills, must be at least a college sophomore or graduate student, must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive to multiple locations on a daily basis.
