Education Outreach into the community is a critical component of New College Institute. NCI, since its inception, has pledged to actively reach out into the community in order to convey the message that postsecondary education is attainable.  This outreach mission is of critical importance in order to fulfill the academic mission.  Through active involvement and participation in various aspects of the community, NCI plans to open the doors of higher education to Southern Virginians in order to assist individuals in attaining their personal educational goals.
