NCI staff members called Outreach Educators are embedded in the community, developing vibrant partnerships by working in churches, schools, and businesses.  They proactively seek ways to communicate with families in comfortable places where the families will not be intimidated to learn about higher education.  Involving families in the discussion will help to build a support network for the student and will also assist in spreading the word in the community that college is an option.  NCI wants every student of all ages in Martinsville and Henry County to realize their potential and know that college is possible.
