Description

The RN to BSN program leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Geared for the working registered nurse, the major builds upon a broad general education foundation in liberal arts, basic and applied sciences, and behavioral and social sciences. The program prepares professional nurses who can function in a variety of settings. The program has been approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and has full accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Graduates qualify to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam-Registered Nurse in the state of their choice after graduation.

Requirements

Prospective students must have already completed an accredited registered nursing program and will apply to Radford University as transfer students. Applications will be evaluated by the Radford admissions office on an individual basis. Two applications are required: the first application to Radford University, the second application to the Radford University School of Nursing.

Tuition and Fees

$272.00 per credit hour


Financial Aid

Prospective students are encouraged to apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Radford University Financial Aid Office will use the FAFSA to determine financial need, develop a financial aid package, and issue a financial aid award letter.
