Description

The Master of Education (MEd) is designed for the classroom teacher to strengthen his/her understanding of the teaching/learning process. In an effort to provide a strong theoretical base, a series of required core courses examine philosophical, psychological, and research-oriented issues. The MEd program provides both theoretical and practical experiences for teachers who wish to become leaders in their profession.


Requirements

Prospective students will apply to Averett University Graduate and Professional Studies. Applications will be evaluated by the Averett admissions office on an individual basis.

Tuition and Fees

   $305 per credit hour

Financial Aid

Prospective students are encouraged to apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Averett University Financial Aid Office will use the FAFSA to determine financial need, develop a financial aid package, and issue a financial aid award letter.
