Professional Development Endorsement: Intended for individuals who have a master’s degree and are seeking state endorsement and a position as principal, assistant principal, or central office supervisor. Students complete 27 credits from the list of core courses as well as a 3-credit administrative internship. Candidates must also successfully complete the School Leader Licensure Assessment, which is the state proficiency exam.
Master’s Degree (M.Ed.): Students complete a total of 36 credits: 27 credits of required core courses, a 3-credit administrative internship, and 6 credits of electives. Upon completion of the coursework, a comprehensive exam is required.
Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S.): Students complete a total of 30 credits, including 27 credits of required coursework and a 3-credit administrative internship. A comprehensive exam is required.
